Monday, October 11th, 2021 - Our lettuce transplants looked happy and healthy in the greenhouse and ready to be planted in our plot. In the seedling trays, you can see the three different lettuce varieties that we planted: New Red Fire, Buttercrunch, and Outredgeous (from left to right). In our plot, we planted Buttercrunch and New Red Fire in a staggered or diamond planting pattern (8" spacing) with Buttercrunch on the outside rows and a row of New Red Fire down the middle.
