Here is an update on our carrot growth: After a very slow germination period where we had difficulty distinguishing between the carrot tops and the weeds sprouting up around them, we are finally seeing some substantial growth of our Sugarsnax. Though the carrots are still very small when we pulled one up for investigation, with more time, these could develop into full sized carrots. However, the time constraints of this semester necessitate that we will not see a substantial carrot harvest this season but we discovered that sometimes patience is a key component in organic cultivation.
